Last night at a supervisors’ meeting, I got a sneak peek at the White Deer Township buffalo, all did up for the Union County contest.
And let me tell you, it’s a beauty:
It was the first time I saw a completed buffalo, not the blank, grey canvas.
And it’s going to be hard to beat, IMO.
Looks like I’m going to be hunting some buffalo. Send me any of your sightings.
UPDATE! 9:30 a.m.
I have received another buffalo picture! This one’s from the Union County government center – and it’s also beautiful!
Keep on the lookout people!
Work on the Danville mural continues, with many of the projects details being solidified.
I think the mural brings together many of the important aspects of the town’s history and it’s current state to create a nice picture.
Here’s a look:
Head to the corner of Mill Street and Route 11 to check it out!
For your holiday/winter viewing pleasure, here are some more photos of the Watson Inn holiday painted windows while artist Mike Heller was working on them.
They depict a traditional winter scene, complete with snowmen, carriage and snow tubers.
I haven’t been by to see the completed windows – have you? How do they look?
