Yesterday, my fiance and I went to Knoebels to meet some friends who are back in town for a visit. We went to get dinner and ride a couple of rides, and our attention came to the Flying Turns, which I wrote and article about two weeks ago.
The cars that the park said could be the key to opening the ride were on the dock, and I took a couple of pictures to show the cool toboggan-style ride.

When the Flying Turns opens, it’s probably going to be chaos for the first couple of months as everyone heads to ride them – but it really looks like it will be worth the wait.
This ride will be the only one like it out there and I plan to enjoy it!
Yesterday, Daily Item photographer Rob Inglis and I went to Knoebels in search of people to talk about what makes the park one of the best in the nation, as documented on the Travel Channel’s new rankings which puts the park at #2 in the country.
We were having fun and enjoying a day out of the office when it came down to crunch time, aka when Rob was force to confront his fear of heights on the Ferris Wheel in order to get an arial shot of the park.
It wasn’t pretty for a minute there.
Here’s the journey, which of course I had to capture on film:
