Yesterday was my niece’s first Christmas – too bad she slept through opening presents Wednesday morning.
To be fair, it was her naptime, but still. I guess Santa was too exciting for the big girl.
But as you can see from the photo above, it didn’t stop her from being the star of the production – the one with the most gifts and the center of attention.
BTW, she’s not spoiled at all. Seriously.
Anyway, I hope you had a great holiday with your loved ones! I’m headed out to the mall to talk to some post-holiday shoppers to discuss what they’re looking for and/or returning.
This weekend, like any good Pennsylvania residents, my family tuned into the first Penn State game of the season, ready to cheer on the Nittany Lions.
But this game was extra special. It was my little niece’s first fan experience.
She was decked out and ready to go:
She sat with her daddy and watched the game, though she had no idea what she was actually doing:
But I’d still like to believe she had fun.
While the world was waiting for the arrival of England’s new prince, in my family we were waiting for the arrival of our own little princess – Miss Leah Marie was born late last night and I think she’s just tops.
I’m so excited to be an auntie and I’m so thrilled that Leah has inherited her mother’s “get out of my space” attitude, as evidenced by the look on her face in all her debut photos.
She also weighed in at around 8 pounds – which is a weird coincidence.
In my opinion, her birth eclipses the Royal Baby’s, but you know, I might be biased.
Mazel Tov to all the families that gave birth yesterday!
